Plain Gouda cheese
Rolf and Marieke Penterman emigrated from the Netherlands to Wisconsin in 2002 to pursue their passion for dairy farming. Their cheeses are smooth, creamy Goudas with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor that becomes more complex as it ages on wooden shelves. Their Holstein cows produce rGBH-free milk that has been creating cheese for international cheese awards since 2006. Marieke is a signature cheese made with an authentic Old World Gouda recipe. The equipment, cultures, herbs and spices are all imported from Holland.
