How to Participate
1 – Create your cheese board and take a photo of it
2 – Share your photo on Instagram and tag @Fromagination OR send it by e-mail to email@example.com*
3 – Upon posting or submission of your photo, indicate which contest category your cheese board belongs in
4 – Please feel free to (Instagram) #tag as well; repeat with other entries to other cheese board categories, if you so choose
5 – Await the judges’ decision to be announced on Instagram on July 20, 2021
*Note: By submitting your cheese board photo, you are giving Fromagination permission to post it on Instagram
- In addition to using ingredients such as the ones in our cheese board kits, using items outside the kit is encouraged, such as fresh fruits and vegetables
- Edible arrangements are preferred
- Only one entry per category will be accepted
Cheese boards will be judged on the overall artful aesthetic, and design and arrangement.
Prizes at Three Levels
Melange a Trois
The contest has three different categories, corresponding to three Fromagination cheese board kits:
the Mélange a Trois, the Soirée and the Gala. With each category being larger than the last, the prizes get bigger too.
The Mélange a Trois – $125 value of Fromagination cheese, charcuterie and various accessories.
The Soirée – $250 value in Fromagination cheese, charcuterie and various accessories.
The Gala – $350 value in Fromagination cheese, charcuterie and various accessories.
The judges who will be critiquing your cheese boards are Fromagination partners or employees. Each one has worked with food extensively. They are not only sticklers for the quality of artisan/specialty foods but also for the presentation of those foods.
The four contest judges are Stuart and Catalina, Fromagination culinary staff members; Inga from Saint Isidore’s Dairy; and Lauren from Edible Madison magazine.
