Le Rouge cheese



Eight Appleton, Wisconsin area family farms produce milk for Red Barn. Additionally, the average herd size is only 55 cows! In fact, their cows are known and cared for by name and live longer lives than the industry average.

Le Rouge cheese has a peppery finish and is a creamy, nutty cheese.  Additionally, it has an edible rind and is aged for 9 months.  In fact, the rind develops an orange-red hue that inspired it’s name which manes, “The Red”.
