Los Poblanos Farm, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM

Los Poblanos was designed in 1932 by John Gaw Meem who was known as the “Father of Santa Fe Style”.  Additionally, in the 1930’s and 1940’s, Los Poblanos was a model experimental farm and helped promote the dairy industry in New Mexico.

“Los Poblanos is also an experimental farm, and one that is an inspiration to all the farmers in this rich fertile valley which has already been farmed for 300 years…”

– Laura Gilpin, 1932 (Country Life Magazine)
