Pavé Henri cheese

$25.00

Pavé Henri cheese from Fayette Creamery, Darlington, Wisconsin

Made from pasteurized cow milk.

Pavé Henri is a washed rind, slightly stinky, square of cheese. It’s buttery, with a slightly crunchy rind, and quite soft at room temperature.

It’s great for a picnic, and is quite tasty with strawberry jam and a French baguette.

The milk for Pavé Henri is sourced from a single herd of Jersey cows from Jordandal Farms.

In a 10-ounce square.

Pavé Henri cheese

Blog post: “It is a washed rind, Trappist-style, cobblestone-shaped cheese that stinks to high heaven—nearing Limburger territory. Cheesemaker Joe Burns joked that we shouldn’t eat it with our noses.”
