Marieke Penterman is the cheesemaker who has created an excellent line of authentic Dutch Gouda cheeses. She immigrated from the Netherlands, and began cheese-making in Thorp, Wisconsin, with her husband, Rolf, who manages the Holland’s Family Cheese dairy operations.
