Manchego is probably the most famous cheese from Spain. Artequeso is a well-know producer of this farmstead cheese.
This famous Spanish D.O.P cheese is made with milk from the Manchega breed of sheep. It’s farmstead Manchego that is aged for 12 months and has a creamy, fully developed flavor and a firm texture.
Manchego pairs well with roasted peppers and rustic bread. Try pairing this cheese with light, crisp white wines and/or light to medium-bodied red wines. Add a Spanish Chorizo cured meat.
