Nueske’s Summer Sausage is a staple from a traditional Wisconsin producer of smoked meats! In fact, the sausage is created from traditional, Old World Nueske’s family recipes, using only quality pork and beef. Consequently, the result is delicious, perfectly seasoned sausage varieties. They are perfect for snacking, sandwiches, charcuterie plates, and dozens of delectable appetizers.

Nueske’s family ancestors moved to Wisconsin in 1882. They brought with them their European skills of Applewood smoking and dozens of recipes for spicing and curing meat.  In 1933, Grandpa R.C. Nueske couldn’t find smoked meats as good as those his family made. So, he decided to market his smoked bacon, ham, poultry and sausage to friends, neighbors and general stores around northern Wisconsin.
