Description

Tomato Basil BellaVitano cheese

Tomato Basil BellaVitano cheese is made by Sartori, which has roots in the cheese-making industry that date to the 1930s.  In essence, Sartori is family-owned and now run by the fourth generation of cheesemakers. BellaVitano is the Sartori Company’s brand of Asiago or Parmesan-style cheese. Many of the farmers they get milk from have been supplying them for generations.  Presently it comes in many varieties and has a nutty, buttery finish.

Sartori produces a number of artisan cheeses, several of which have won cheese competition awards.

“Bella” is related to the Italian and Latin words for beautiful. It is also related to the name Belle, which means beautiful in French.

Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before consumption, leaving the cheese in its packaging during this time.
