The Artisan Cheese Exchange, located in northeast Wisconsin, makes a great variety of wonderful cheeses. Fromagination carries several of the Deer Creek brand varieties, including The Robin. Also carried by Fromagination are Imperial Buck, Blue Jay, The Doe, Rattle Snake and Doe cheeses. Founder Chris Gentine chose the names and labeling for these artisan cheeses based her affinity for a children’s storybook, The Golden Story Book of River Bend, which was written by Richard Scarry’s wife Patricia Scarry. However, The Robin is named after the Wisconsin state bird.
