Forget-Me-Not Cake of Cheese
The Forget-Me-Not Cake of Cheese features three distinct cheeses:
- Eight-Year Aged Cheddar is a firm cow milk cheese made by Hook’s Cheese in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Made from pasteurized milk and vegetarian rennet, this is the “white sheep” of the family…as all other Hook’s great aged Cheddars are colored with annatto to yield the traditional Wisconsin yellow.
- Rocket’s Robiola is a goat milk cheese made by Boxcarr Handmade Cheese in Cedar Grove, North Carolina. Additionally, this cheese is dusted with ash and has flavor notes of mushroom and almond.
- Bayley Hazen Blue is raw cow milk cheese made by Jasper Hill Farms in Greensboro, Vermont. Also, it is a natural rind Blue cheese, less “hot” and more nutty, aged between 3 and 4 months.
This cake is approximately 6 inches wide (at its base) and 12 inches tall. Furthermore, it contains approximately 76 1-ounce servings of cheese.
