This award-winning Gouda is made from rBGH-free cow milk by Holland’s Family Cheese in central Wisconsin.  It is aged 2-4 months. This creamy and buttery Gouda has an irresistible mild, buttery taste. Slightly sweet notes balance the richnesss with a burst of flavor.

Marieke Young Gouda Cheese is sure to please all cheese lovers!

Rolf and Marieke Penterman emigrated from the Netherlands to Wisconsin in 2002 to pursue their passion for dairy farming. Their cheeses are smooth, creamy Goudas with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor that becomes more complex as it ages on wooden shelves. Their Holstein cows produce rGBH-free milk that has been creating cheese for international cheese awards since 2006. Additionally, Marieke is a signature cheese made with an authentic Old World Gouda recipe. In fact, the equipment, cultures, herbs and spices are all imported from Holland. This plain gouda cheese will make an excellent addition to a cheese plate!
