SarVecchio Parmesan cheese
SarVecchio Parmesan cheese is a staple in any cheese tray! The Sartori Company began in 1939, in Plymouth, where Italian immigrant Paolo Sartori decided to begin making cheese with Louis Rossini. Consequently, they founded S&R Cheese Corporation, which, after a few iterations became Sartori Company. Sartori has purchased other specialty cheese-makers during its history, and added new lines of cheese. The BellaVitano cheese was started in 1999. in 2017, Black Pepper BellaVitano was the Grand Champion of the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest.
SarVecchio has hints of lightly roasted caramel, and is slightly fruity. In fact, it won Best in Class at the 2014 World Championship Cheese Contest, as well as several previous awards.
Sartori Company also makes non-cheese food products.
Pairing suggestions: SarVecchio cheese pairs well with fruits or nuts, crumbles beautifully, and is aged to perfection. Put on your pasta, or just eat it with apple slices. Yum!
