Hook’s Ten-Year Aged Cheddar Cheese

Hook’s Ten-Year Aged Cheddar Cheese is great for cheddar lovers! This year is when you start getting those lovely crystals…

Tony and Julie Hook have been making cheese in Wisconsin for more than 30 years. Starting out as a fairly small operation, the Hooks made primarily Cheddar and Swiss cheeses. Some years later they expanded to Colby, Monterey Jack, and flavored Jacks and eventually they grew to such an extent that they needed to find a larger working space. Many more artisan cheeses and awards later, the Hooks now make cheese from their Mineral Point location in southwestern Wisconsin.

Pairing suggestions:  Fromagination Cranberry Relish made by Quince & Apple, Door County dried cherries, Guinness beer, Argentine Malbec wine.
