Espresso BellaVitano cheese

Espresso BellaVitano cheese is made by Sartori, which has roots in the cheese-making industry that date to the 1930s.  In essence, Sartori is family-owned and now run by the fourth generation of cheesemakers. BellaVitano is the Sartori Company’s brand of Asiago or Parmesan-style cheese. Many of the farmers they get milk from have been supplying them for generations.  Presently it comes in many varieties and has a nutty, buttery finish.

Sartori produces a number of artisan cheeses, several of which have won cheese competition awards. Fromagination carries a a variety of the Sartori cheeses such as BellaVitano varieties Merlot, Chardonnay, and Black Pepper; and Sarvecchio.

    By far one of my favorites is the Merlot version of this cheese. Very wine tasting, an even cheese that most will enjoy. I had the pepper version as well and it’s tasty but once you have the Merlot flavor you can’t go back!
