Description
Wedding Bells Cake of Cheese
The Wedding Bells Cake of Cheese features four cheeses:
- Little Lucy is a cow milk cheese made by Redhead Creamery in Brooten, Minnesota. Also, it is a pasteurized milk Brie, aged 4-14 weeks, that gets riper and creamier if you allow it to age.
- Triple Play is a mixed-milk cheese made by Hook’s Cheese in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Furthermore, its name reflects the combination of sheep, goat and cow milks that flavor this unique creation, which the producer says has notes of Havarti, Gouda and baby Swiss cheeses.
- Meadow Melody is a mixed-milk cheese made by Hidden Springs Creamery in Westby, Wisconsin. Best characterized as a young Manchego, this washed-rind cheese is creamy in texture and cave-aged for at least 3 months.
- Humboldt Fog is a goat milk cheese made by Cypress Grove in Arcata, California. It is a soft-ripened creation, with a streak of ash across the middle, like the French cheese Morbier. In fact, it ripens from the outside.
This cake is approximately 8 inches wide (at its base) and 15 inches tall. It contains approximately 132 1-ounce servings of cheese.
