Description

LaClare Creamery’s Chandoka cheese

LaClare Creamery is located in Malone, Wisconsin.  It is known for cheeses and other products made from goat milk. LaClare Creamery is now owned by Mosaic Meadows.

History: Larry Hedrich of LaClare Creamery had the idea to make an aged, clothbound version of their award-winning Chandoka and began working with Chicago-based Standard Market to make this dream a reality. The cave-aged version of Chandoka is still occasionally available.

Chandoka is a blend of 70% cow and 30% goats milk, all sourced locally near the creamery.  Taste alone, serve with charcuterie and grapes or shave over fresh greens for an added dose of flavor.

Pairing suggestion: Scots ale, a Stout, sweet red wine or fruity wine.
