The Night Walker is a Cheddar cheese, cured in a wood box for 18 months and soaked in five-year aged Wisconsin Bourbon.
It’s a gold medal winner in its class at the International Cheese Awards!
The Artisan Cheese Exchange, located in northeast Wisconsin, makes a great variety of wonderful cheeses. Fromagination carries several other Deer Creek cheeses, including Imperial Buck, Blue Jay, The Doe, and Rattle Snake. Founder Chris Gentine chose the names and labeling for these artisan cheeses based her affinity for a children’s storybook, The Golden Story Book of River Bend, which was written by Richard Scarry’s wife Patricia Scarry.
Favorite pairings: Potter’s Cranberry Hazelnut Crisps, apples, Stout beer, Port wine and Wm. Chocolate bars.
